NS Amsterdam Schiphol platforms

In close cooperation with and commissioned by NS Poort, FLYER asymmetric fixtures are applied over platforms of NS Schiphol in Amsterdam. The two light colours are fully biodynamically adjustable. The light is controlled in color and in intensity. From cool light in the morning to warm light in the evening atmosphere. Ambiance, healthy light and energy efficient. The installation-specification is created by NS Project Consult.

By adapting this FLYER to the possibilities of the existing constructions pretty coherent lines could be made. The mounting system, the brackets and the cable entry, everything is made to be used efficiently and sustainably. The biodynamic control, programmed in the processo,r ensures that the right light with the proper intensity is set. Typically a project where the Van Doorn competences were fully expressed.
